LAST TIME OUT
DBU's men's tennis returns to action this weekend when they head to Conway, Arkansas, for three matches. On Friday, DBU claimed a 9-0 win over the University of Dallas after having several stand-out performances. 
Trevor Vaccaro and Arturo Langle got the team rolling with a line-one 8-2 doubles win, lighting a match up under the Patriots. Ricardo Carvajalino and Fabian Rosales quickly followed with an 8-1 win over their own, while Joshua Capone and Braxton Jett closed out doubles play with an 8-0 win over the Crusaders as well. 

DBU dominated in the singles category as Ricky Carvajalino started the team off, notching a victory with the first singles win of the season. Arturo Langle, Trevor Vaccaro, Zach Capone, Braxton Jett, and Arturo Bateman each picked up singles wins, thus securing the victory for the Patriots.                                                                                                                                                

PATRIOT STORYLINES 

• Eighth players saw action in DBU's match against the University of Dallas to open the season. 
• The team of Trevor Vaccaro and Arturo Langle competed at the line 1 doubles position, picking up a win. 
• Ricky Carvajalino picked up a win at the line 1 singles position last weekend. 

 
UP NEXT
The Patriots return home for three matches next weekend. On Friday, February 16, the Patriots face Texas Wesleyan and Texas A&M Texarkana, followed by a match against Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday.
