STUNT Cruises to 24-2 Win Over Trevecca Nazarene

THE RUNDOWN
The DBU STUNT team closed their regular season with their first perfect game of the season, winning a 24-2 decision over Trevecca Nazarene.

Quarter 1 - Partner Stunts Score: 4-0 DBU started this Quarter with great attention to detail. They looked energetic and confident, leaving the Trojans no room to take any points.

Quarter 2 - Pyramids and Tosses Score: 8-0 In Quarter 2, the Patriots put up all possible 8 points before Halftime. It was obvious that these athletes were locked in and continued to dominate.

Quarter 3 - Jumps and Tumbling Score: 12-1 Following Halftime, the Patriots continued to put up points. The Trojans tied the point for routine 4, but this did not stop DBU's momentum. The standout performances by upperclassmen Emma Eason and Mariah Contreras helped DBU to continue to receive every point.

Quarter 4 - Combination Routine Final Score: 24-2 DBU continued to play an incredible game. This was the first perfect game for the Patriots this season. This game helped DBU start the weekend off on a high note. "This game was incredible! ", said Sophomore Grace Hejl. "We were strong in all four quarters, and it was due to the encouragement on and off the mat. We were loving to our teammates and our opponents. It was a great start to the weekend."
