The Patriots secured the No. 1 seed in the Lone Star Conference Tournament with a 22-5 win over St. Mary's on Friday in Denton, Texas.

Quarter 1 - Partner Stunts Score: 3-2 The Rattlers had possession and came out confidently, tying the point for routine 7. DBU answered by winning three out of four possible points and coming out on top. 

Quarter 2 - Pyramids and Tosses Score: 7-2 This was a strong quarter for the Patriots. They shut down St. Mary's in every single routine, executing each pyramid to the best of their ability. 

Quarter 3 - Jumps and Tumbling Score: 11-2 Following halftime, DBU continued to prove how fierce of a competitor they can be. The Patriots looked focused and determined to widen the score gap between the Rattlers. This is another quarter with DBU receiving all four possible points. 

Quarter 4 - Team Routine Final Score: 22-5 Coming off such a strong quarter 2 and 3, the Patriots were excited to finish this game in the same manner. They dominated the Rattlers and received 11 out of 12 possible points in the final quarter. "We spent the day focusing on being a fierce competitor and that is exactly what we did." said senior Alli Gibson. "This was a great end to the day, and we were able to show our skills, build confidence, and finish the weekend strong."
