LAST TIME OUT
The DBU Men's Tennis team suffered two losses over the weekend to UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico to open Lone Star Conference play. On Thursday, they fell 7-0 to UTPB before dropping a 3-4 decision to WNMU on Saturday.

In their opening loss to UTPB, the Patriots struggled across the board in the 7-0 shutout. On Saturday versus Western New Mexico, the Patriots picked up points in doubles action after the teams of Trevor Vaccaro and Arturo Langle (line 1), along with Ricardo Carvajalino and Fabian Rosales (line 2), each won their matches. Fabian Rosales picked up DBU's lone point in singles play with a 6-2,7-5 win at the line 3 spot.

Fabian Rosales stood out in the match against WNMU as the only Patriots to notch a win in singles over the weekend. Despite the losses, the Patriots played great doubles against WNMU but ultimately couldn't overcome the singles matches.
