PATRIOT STORYLINES
- DBU dropped their rubber match of a three-game series at Air Force on Sunday. It marks the first time since April of 2022 that the Patriots have lost back-to-back weekend series.
- The Patriots enter this week nationally ranked in all five major polls for the eighth straight week. DBU is ranked as high as #19 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
- The Patriots boast the #24 RPI in the nation according to D1Baseball. DBU is 11-8 versus teams with an RPI ranking in the top 100.
- DBU's starting pitching and defense have been strengths in 2024. The Patriots rank #2 nationally in fielding (.984) and #13 in ERA (3.80).
- The Patriots' 36 double plays are the sixth-most in college baseball. The 2006 team holds the program record with 61 twin killings.
- A big reason behind DBU's double-play ball success is a Patriot pitching staff that ranks #4 in the nation in groundball percentage (50.9).
- Grant Jay leads CUSA in home runs (13) and ranks fifth in RBI (37).
- Chayton Krauss has reached safely in all 34 games in his first year as a Patriot. Krauss has also yet to commit an error in 219 chances.
- Luke Heefner ranks #4 in the nation in sacrifice bunts (9). Heefner's four bunts from passing Camden Duzenack (2015) for the most sacrifice bunts in program history.
- Four Patriots are hitting over .300 including Chayton Krauss (.360), Miguel Santos (.359), Ethan Mann (.351), and Michael Dattalo (.345).
 
SCOUTING OKLAHOMA STATE
- Oklahoma State enters Tuesday with a 25-11 record after sweeping Cincinnati at home this past weekend.
- The Cowboys' 10-5 conference record has the Cowboys at #3 in the Big 12 standings, trailing just West Virginia and Oklahoma.
- The Oklahoma State offense has four players hitting over .300 including Zach Erhard (.355), Aidan Meola (.339), Carson Benge (.321), and Kollin Ritchie (.301).
- Carson Benge, a 2023 Freshman All-American, ranks 23rd nationally in base on balls (34) and 14th in doubles (15).
 - On the mound, the Cowboys rank 20th in earned run average (4.16), 5th in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.23), and 15th in strikeouts per nine innings (10.7).
- Former Oklahoma State player Josh Holliday is in his 12th season as head coach of the Cowboys. Holliday has compiled a 428-228-2 record since taking over in 2013.

SERIES HISTORY
- In a matchup that dates back to 1970, OSU leads the all-time series over the Patriots, 15-10.
- DBU has won the last three games over the Cowboys, including a 14-4 win in their previous meeting on February 27 in Dallas.
