Men’s Tennis Readies for Final Tune-Up Before LSC Championships

LAST TIME OUT

The Patriots fell in the weekend's action against Midwestern State and Lubbock Christian. On Friday, the team fell in a 0-7 shutout to Midwestern State before suffering another loss, 0-7, to Lubbock Christian on Saturday. 

The Patriots competed hard but could not pull through with the win as they fell to two nationally ranked teams in a group of competitive matches. 


PATRIOT STORYLINES

- The Patriots return to action this weekend when they face UT Tyler.
- DBU is a combined 83-65 in singles play and owns a 45-39 mark in doubles. 
- Alec Rule is 14-6 in singles play. Ricardo Carvajalino and Fabian Rosales are 12-9 in doubles. 


SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS

DBU will face UT Tyler on Tuesday in Dallas. UT Tyler competes at the NCAA Division II level and is out to a 15-5 start this spring. The UT Tyler Patriots have a 5-0 all-time series advantage over the DBU Patriots since their first matchup on February 18, 2005.


UP NEXT

The Patriots will travel to Arlington, TX, for the Lone Star Conference Championships, April 25th-27th.
