The DBU STUNT program was back in action this Saturday afternoon at the STUNT Division II National Championships in St. Louis, Missouri, and claimed a 20-9 win over Concordia University at Irvine.

FINAL SCORE (DBU- 20 and CUI- 9)
Quarter 1 - Partner Stunts Score: 4-2 The Patriots came out with a confident energy that could not be matched. They received all four possible points in the first quarter, tying in routines four and two.
Quarter 2 - Pyramids and Tosses Score: 7-3 The Eagles called routine 5 to start the quarter and DBU took the point. The momentum continued to stay with the Patriots as they excelled and scored three more points.
Quarter 3 - Jumps and Tumbling Score: 11-4 After halftime, CUI tried their hardest to close the score gap. This quarter has been a weaker point for the Patriots, but not today. DBU received all four points, only tying in routine six and continued to pull away from the Eagles.
Quarter 4 - Combination Routine Final Score: 20-9 In an energetic final quarter, DBU continued to keep its lead against the Eagles. They scored nine out of twelve possible points against a tough competitor and secured this huge win.
"Having a high energy game against Concordia showed our true passion for this sport," said fourth year senior,
Katyn Yarborough. "We were able to work together as one as we executed great routines in all four quarters. This secured our first win against CUI which is so incredible and a huge accomplishment."
