The DBU Women's Tennis team competed at the Abilene Quad over the weekend, playing four lines of doubles and eight lines of singles against three teams. The Lady Patriots won the majority of their matches against three opponents that included St. Mary's, UT Permian Basin, and Hardin-Simmons.

Leonie Schondelmaier went undefeated at the top spot in singles action, while Isabella Arana Rios, Emily Buchanan, and Andrea Delgado won each singles match at their respective lines. The line 2 doubles team of Jenna Payne and Isabella Quintero went undefeated, as did Buchanan and Schondelmaier at the line 3 spot.

DBU HEAD COACH WADE MORGAN ON THE TEAM'S PERFORMANCE
"This weekend gave us some good energy and fuel going into Regionals next week and served as a reminder of how tough our conference opponents can be. It will be fun to watch them compete next week at the ITA."
