The DBU Baseball team will wrap up its fall schedule this Saturday when the Patriots host Wichita State at Horner Ballpark. First pitch is slated for 1:00 p.m., and admission is free for all fans.

DBU is coming off another outstanding season in 2025, marking the program's 11th consecutive NCAA postseason appearance. The Patriots finished the year with a 41–18 record, advancing to the Baton Rouge Regional as the No. 2 seed. With their latest postseason berth, the Patriots stand among an elite group of just five teams nationally to reach 11 straight NCAA Regionals, joining Florida, LSU, Oklahoma State, and Vanderbilt.

DBU returns three All-Conference USA performers from last year's club, including Ryan Borberg (RHP), Keaton Grady (Infield), and Chayton Krauss (First Base). The Patriots also welcome a recruiting class that features 22 newcomers.

Wichita State, a tradition-rich program from the American Athletic Conference, concluded the 2025 season with a 20–36 record.
