Men's Golf Secures Third Place Finish at Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite

THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Golf team continued their strong fall campaign with another impressive performance, finishing in a tie for third place at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational at Amarillo Country Club. The result marks the Patriots' second consecutive top-three finish this season.

Odessa College captured the team title after firing a remarkable 30-under par for the tournament.

Following a weather delay that suspended play midway through round two, DBU returned to action on Wednesday with steady play down the stretch. The Patriots posted rounds of 7-under and 2-under to close out the event with a three-round total of 8-under (844).

Leading the charge for DBU, Brecken Franklin recorded his second top-10 finish of the season, tying for eighth place at 5-under par (208). Sam Jenkins also turned in a solid showing, finishing 1-under par and in 23rd place on the individual leaderboard.
