The DBU Baseball team announced its schedule for the 2026 season on Thursday. This year's slate features 55 regular-season games, including 31 home dates at Horner Ballpark, where the Patriots will open the season with a three-game series against Binghamton on February 13–15.
DBU's 2026 schedule is once again among the nation's most competitive, highlighted by 15 games against teams that reached the postseason last year. Among the six NCAA Tournament participants on this year's schedule are Binghamton, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, UTSA, and Western Kentucky.
Entering their fourth and final season in Conference USA, the Patriots look to build on a dominant stretch that includes regular-season titles in 2023 and 2025 and a CUSA Tournament Championship in 2024.
At home, DBU welcomes five league opponents to Horner Ballpark:
- New Mexico State (March 13–15)
- Missouri State (March 27–29)
- Liberty (April 17–19)
- Louisiana Tech (May 1–3)
- Jacksonville State (May 14–16)
On the road, the Patriots will face conference foes Delaware (March 20–22), Kennesaw State (April 2–4), Sam Houston (April 10–12), FIU (April 24–26), and WKU (May 8–10).
The non-conference portion of the schedule offers plenty of marquee matchups. DBU will host a four-game homestand February 26–March 1, featuring two games each against Oral Roberts (Feb. 26 & 28) and Air Force (Feb. 27 & March 1). The Patriots will also welcome Louisiana for a weekend series March 6–8.
Additional non-conference home games include Abilene Christian (Feb. 17), Texas Tech (March 17), TCU (March 24), Oklahoma State (March 31), Oklahoma (April 6), and UT Arlington (April 14).
