Madison Ude has been named the Lone Star Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday. Ude earned individual medalist honors for the second time this season, leading the No. 3-ranked Patriots to a first place finish at the West Regional Preview in Pueblo, Colorado. The junior standout finished even par through two rounds and topped a field of 109 competitors with an impressive eight birdies over 36 holes.

This marks the second time this fall that Ude has received the LSC's top weekly accolade. She previously earned the honor on September 25 following her individual title at the DBU Classic.

Ude and the Patriots will wrap up their fall schedule at the Midwestern State Invitational, held October 20–21 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
