DBU's Erik Oliveira has been named the Lone Star Conference Men's Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Oliveira, a junior from Vitoria, Brazil, delivered a stellar performance in DBU's 4–1 road victory over West Texas A&M on Saturday at The Pitch in Canyon. The forward recorded a hat trick, becoming the first Patriot to score three goals in a single match since Riley Alvey accomplished the feat in 2015.

Oliveira opened the scoring in the 31st minute before striking twice more in a four-minute span early in the second half, helping the Patriots secure a key conference win.

This marks the first LSC Offensive Player of the Week honor of Oliveira's career.

Oliveira and the Patriots return to action on Wednesday, when DBU hosts Sul Ross State at Patriot Soccer Field. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
