LAST TIME OUT
The top-ranked DBU Women's Soccer team kept their perfect season alive with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over St. Edward's on Wednesday afternoon at Patriot Soccer Field. Freshman defender Skylar Belanger netted the game-winner in the 62nd minute, lifting the Patriots to their 13th straight win and an unblemished 13-0 record on the year.

St. Edward's came out with the early momentum, firing two shots on target in the opening 12 minutes, but goalkeeper Leslie Miller answered the call with a pair of key saves to keep things level. After weathering the early surge, DBU flipped the script, controlling possession and racking up 12 first-half shots. Despite the pressure, the Hilltoppers' defense held strong to send the match into halftime scoreless.

Seventeen minutes into the second half, the breakthrough arrived. Belanger found a pocket of space just outside the 18-yard box on the left side and buried a shot inside the far post off a Riley Olsen assist. From there, the Patriot defense locked down once again, fending off several late pushes from St. Edward's to preserve another shutout and extend their unbeaten streak.
