LAST TIME OUT
The Lady Patriots are fresh off enduring a tough weekend, falling in three sets to UT Permian Basin on Friday before taking Angelo State to the brink on Saturday, where DBU came up just short in a deuce-decided fifth set.Â

Friday's loss to the Falcons was abrupt, as the Lady Patriots couldn't muster a consistent offense and allowed UTPB to record a .238 hitting percentage on the night. The game's conclusion left a noteworthy blank space on DBU's side of the box score; the Lady Patriots entered the weekend leading the Lone Star Conference in aces per set with 1.88, but couldn't record one Friday night against the Permian Basin back row.

Saturday afternoon brought far and away the most electric environment The Burg Center has seen this Fall. Despite the loss, DBU had the more efficient offense of the two, hitting .308 on the afternoon against a Rambelle defense that is holding opponents to a .144 clip on the year.
Karly Wells led everyone on the floor with 24 kills, supported by two other Lady Patriots who had double-digit kills:
Ella Swinn (12) and
Lauren Witte (10).
