LAST TIME OUT
The Lady Patriots dropped their midweek contest against Texas A&M-Kingsville in four sets, pushing their losing skid to four games, which marks DBU's longest streak of such since the 2020 season.  
​
In the loss, the Lady Patriots still showed dominance up and down the box score during the second set, finishing the frame with a .538 hitting percentage while holding the Javelinas to a .143 clip. 
​
With the sets tied at one apiece, the third frame was knotted up at 20. TAMUK would then rattle off a 5-0 run to take the third frame, and continued their dominance into the fourth set, where Kingsville would seal the deal with a 25-15 set win. 
​
Karly Wells and Lauren Witte led everyone on the floor with 16 and 13 kills, respectively. Witte recorded her tenth double-double of the season, contributing 11 digs alongside her kill total.

Chasing 1K: Junior outside Karly Wells enters Tuesday just 3 kills removed from 1,000 on her career.
LSC Tournament Picture: The Lady Patriots sit 1.5 games back of a spot in the Lone Star Conference Tournament with six games left in the regular season.
Leadership Milestone: Head coach Jordan Fish is currently six wins shy of 100 in her coaching career (94-41).
Young Core: Paityn Winters (9/16), Aizlyn Dewberry (9/23), and Lauren Witte (10/14) have each taken home Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Week honors this season. 
iKarly: Wells leads the Lone Star Conference in kills per set with a 4.65 clip. She sits fifth in the nation in that category, chasing the leader, Cal Poly Pomona's Sarah Ybarra, who is currently putting down 5.06 kills per set.
Berry Nice: Since transitioning from outside to middle on 9/19, Aizlyn Dewberry is averaging 1.08 blocks per set.
Baseline Prowess: Lauren Witte ranks 12th in the conference in service aces with 28.
Trick Up The Sleeve: Since the start of conference play, DBU ranks fourth in the conference in aces per set, with a 1.53 mark.
Blue Christmas: Freshman libero Blue Anderson ranks 10th in the conference in digs per set (3.81).

SCOUTING MIDWESTERN STATE
- MSU owns a 14-7 record coming into the weekend. They are 1-3 in their last four contests.
- Tuesday, the Mustangs snapped a three-game losing streak by sweeping Eastern New Mexico on the road.
- They own a team-wide hitting percentage of .225, and are allowing opponents to hit .172 off of them (DBU- .209 hit%, .181 hit% against).
- The Mustangs are led offensively by Trinity Vinzant, who owns a kill per set average of 3.22. Two other attackers have more than two kills per set.

- LCU leads the Lone Star Conference with an 11-1 record in conference play. They suffered their first conference loss of the year Tuesday night on the road against No. 14 WTAMU, who still trails them by half a game (10-1).
- The Lady Chaps' loss Tuesday snapped a 15-game winning streak.
- They own a team-wide hitting percentage of .222, and are holding opponents to a .156 clip (DBU- .209 hit%, .181 hit% against).
- LCU is led offensively by Emilee Sikora, who owns a kill per set average of 3.24, while five other attackers have more than two kills per set.
- Bryleigh Schweer leads the group with 79 total blocks. The team has been out-blocked 175 to 218 on the year. The Lady Chaps average 1.92 blocks per set.
- At the baseline, Olivia Elofsson leads the group with 23 aces. The team as a whole rocks an ace-to-error ratio of 112-103.
