The Lady Patriots dropped their midweek contest against Texas A&M-Kingsville in four sets, pushing their losing skid to four games, which marks DBU's longest streak of such since the 2020 season.  
In the loss, the Lady Patriots still showed dominance up and down the box score during the second set, finishing the frame with a .538 hitting percentage while holding the Javelinas to a .143 clip. 
With the sets tied at one apiece, the third frame was knotted up at 20. TAMUK would then rattle off a 5-0 run to take the third frame, and continued their dominance into the fourth set, where Kingsville would seal the deal with a 25-15 set win. 
Karly Wells and 
Lauren Witte led everyone on the floor with 16 and 13 kills, respectively. Witte recorded her tenth double-double of the season, contributing 11 digs alongside her kill total.

- MSU owns a 14-7 record coming into the weekend. They are 1-3 in their last four contests.

- The Lady Chaps' loss Tuesday snapped a 15-game winning streak.
- They own a team-wide hitting percentage of .222, and are holding opponents to a .156 clip (DBU- .209 hit%, .181 hit% against).
- LCU is led offensively by Emilee Sikora, who owns a kill per set average of 3.24, while five other attackers have more than two kills per set.
- Bryleigh Schweer leads the group with 79 total blocks. The team has been out-blocked 175 to 218 on the year. The Lady Chaps average 1.92 blocks per set.
- At the baseline, Olivia Elofsson leads the group with 23 aces. The team as a whole rocks an ace-to-error ratio of 112-103.
