LAST TIME OUT
This past weekend, DBU split their road weekend set, being swept by #14 WTAMU Friday night (22-25, 19-25, 19-25), before rebounding and sweeping Eastern New Mexico the following afternoon (25-12, 26-24, 25-22).

The balanced Lady Buff attack swung to the tune of a .257 hitting percentage on Friday, in a game that saw the triple-edged-sword of Marusack, Cavanaugh, and Stow combine for 37 kills in three sets. Stow added a whopping eight blocks, including one solo, to keep the Lady Patriot offense in check.
Karly Wells still led the game with 19 kills, but DBU struggled to find consistent secondary scoring options.

The Lady Patriots responded mightily less than 24 hours later; DBU would take the first set over Eastern New Mexico 25-12 to kickstart what would be their first conference win of the season. Wells once again led everyone on the court with 18 kills in one of the most efficient games of her career (.302 hit %), but the difference was
Kalin Hubbard and
Lauren Witte both hitting at least .250 to provide even more efficiency to a team that needed a win.
Tyleigh Fehseke recorded the first kill of her collegiate career, and
Paityn Winters added her team-leading eighth double-double against ENMU to help lead the group to a win.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
Home At Last: When Tuesday's contest begins, it will end a streak of 31 days without a home game for the Lady Patriots.
Back On Track: Saturday's win over ENMU snapped a three-game losing streak for the Lady Patriots. With all three opponents in this homestand coming to The Burg Center at .500 or below, DBU will look to jump at the opportunity to establish a winning streak.
iKarly: Junior outside
Karly Wells is currently putting down 5.24 kills per set. The current program record for kills per set in a single season was set by
Delaney Fuller last season, with a clip of 4.62.
Berry Nice: Freshman outside/middle
Aizlyn Dewberry was named the LSC Freshman of the Week on 9/23/2025, for her performance at the Lone Star Conference Crossover. She totaled nine kills and 17 total blocks across that two-game slate.
Ice Cold Winters: Freshman setter
Paityn Winters has blossomed into a consistent all-around contributor and a key piece to the young Lady Patriot core. Winters leads the team with eight double-doubles on the year, averaging 5.26 assists per set and 3.19 digs per set.
Blue Christmas: Freshman libero
Blue Anderson has been a gift to the Lady Patriot back row. Anderson owns an impressive clip of 4.67 digs per set and has continued to showcase her elite range on the court to keep volleys alive.
