THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Golf team turned in their best performance of the fall season, finishing second overall at The Hrnciar with a three-round total of 2-over par (866). After a strong start on Monday with rounds of 4-under (284) and 8-under (280), the Patriots entered the final day in contention for the title. Tuesday's closing round proved challenging, as DBU carded an 11-over (299) to secure the runner-up finish behind UT Permian Basin, who claimed the championship at 15-under par (849).

Sam Jenkins paced the Patriots, finishing fifth individually at 4-under (212). Brecken Franklin and Daniel Ferguson added top-20 performances, with Franklin tying for 12th at 1-over (217) and Ferguson close behind in 16th at 3-over (219).

• Sam Jenkins notched his ninth career top-5 finish.
