Women's Soccer Places Region-Best Six on D2CCA All-South Central Team

The DBU Women's Soccer team placed a region-best six players on the D2CCA All-South Central Region Team, as announced on Tuesday. The Patriots earned four First Team selections—Skylar Belanger, Parker Coe, Anne Louthan, and Kenzi Tufts—while Angelina Olmos and McKenna Vela were each named to the Second Team.

Senior center back Parker Coe, the 2025 Lone Star Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, adds All-Region honors for the fourth time in her decorated career. Coe leads the Patriots in minutes and anchors a defensive unit that ranks No. 2 nationally, allowing just 0.35 goals per match. She has also contributed six goals and six assists.

Senior midfielder Anne Louthan, the 2025 LSC Midfielder of the Year, collects All-Region recognition for the second time. Louthan has produced a career season, posting personal bests in goals (10) and assists (9) while helping fuel a DBU offense that leads the nation with 3.50 goals per match.

Sophomore center back Kenzi Tufts joins Coe as a force on the Patriots' back line, helping limit opponents to only seven goals across 20 matches. Tufts has also been impactful in the attack, tallying four goals and four assists.

Freshman outside back Skylar Belanger earns All-Region honors following a standout debut season in which she was named the LSC Freshman of the Year. A dynamic presence in DBU's defensive system, Belanger has recorded 10 assists, the second-most on the team and tied for the most by a freshman in a single season in program history. She has also scored three goals.

Senior forward Angelina Olmos secures All-Region recognition for the second straight year, earning Second Team accolades. Olmos ranks fourth nationally with 12 assists, and her 28 career assists are tied for the most in program history. She has added four goals this season.

Rounding out DBU's honorees is junior forward McKenna Vela, the Most Valuable Player of the LSC Tournament, who earns All-Region accolades for the second consecutive year. Vela leads the Patriots with 13 goals, a total that ranks 14th in the nation, along with nine assists.

The Patriots return to action on Sunday when DBU faces UCCS in the South Central Regional Final at Patriot Soccer Field. Game time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
