LAST TIME OUT
The nation's top-ranked DBU Women's Soccer team continued their remarkable season on Saturday, rolling past West Texas A&M with a 5-0 shutout at Patriot Soccer Field. The win pushed the Patriots' program-record winning streak to 16 straight and marked their 13th clean sheet of the year, as DBU's defense completely stifled the Lady Buffs—holding them without a single shot.
 
After a tightly contested opening half-hour, DBU finally broke through in the 37th minute when Riley Olsen headed home a pinpoint cross from Ashley Washburn to open the scoring. The Patriots dominated the first half statistically, outshooting West Texas A&M 14-0, and carried a 1-0 edge into halftime.
 
The second half saw the floodgates open. Parker Coe doubled the lead in the 51st minute, finishing off a corner kick, before Emma Croley extended it to 3-0 just 17 minutes later with a close-range strike. Soon after, Isabella Medina was fouled in the box and converted the ensuing penalty with poise to make it 4-0.
 
The afternoon's highlight came in the 87th minute when Kylar Coffman unleashed a spectacular 25-yard curler that bent into the far post, sealing a commanding 5-0 win for the Patriots.

- Lone Star Standard: DBU has captured six Lone Star Conference regular-season titles in seven years since joining the league.
- Holding the Top Spot: The Patriots have held the No. 1 national ranking in the United Soccer Coaches Poll for four consecutive weeks.
- 16 & Soaring: DBU boasts the longest active winning streak in all of NCAA Women's Soccer—16 straight victories, the most in program history.
- Perfect Patriots: The Patriots remain the only unbeaten and untied team across all three NCAA divisions.

- Offensive Firepower: DBU leads the nation in assists (65) and ranks second in both total goals (62) and goals per game (3.88).
- Strength in Numbers: 15 different Patriots have scored this season, with seven players netting at least four goals. McKenna Vela and Anne Louthan share the team lead with 10 apiece.
- The Wall in Goal: Redshirt freshman Leslie Miller owns the best goals-against average in Division II at 0.09.
- Elite Playmaker: Angelina Olmos ranks fourth nationally with 11 assists, and her 27 career assists is just one shy of tying Ashley Cox (2012–15) for the DBU all-time mark.
- Sharp Shooter: McKenna Vela's .700 shot accuracy ranks third-best in the nation.
- Two-Way Defenders: Skylar Belanger, Parker Coe, and Kenzi Tufts lead DBU in minutes played and have combined for 12 goals, 14 assists, and 38 points.
- National Recognition: Parker Coe earned National Player of the Month honors (Oct. 3), while Anne Louthan was named National Player of the Week (Oct. 14).
- Legendary Milestone: Head Coach Marcus Wood notched his 450th career win last Saturday, ranking 20th all-time in NCAA Women's Soccer history.

 SCOUTING MIDWESTERN STATE
- The Mustangs have not lost since September 7 versus Ouachita Baptist and are 9-0-5 since then.
- MSU sits in second place in the Lone Star Conference standings and has clinched the No. 2 seed in the LSC Tournament.
- The Mustangs' offense ranks No. 2 in the LSC, averaging 2.31 goals per match. Defensively, they are conceding an average of 1.0 goal per match.
- MSU is averaging the 12th-most corner kicks per match (6.56).
- Senior midfielder Lillia Besedin leads the team in goals (7).
- Goalkeeper Tanner Sorenson ranks fifth in the LSC in goals against average (0.98).
