The Lady Patriots went 0-2 on their road trip last weekend, falling in four sets to both Midwestern State and Lubbock Christian, the conference leader. DBU has now dropped six consecutive games and sits three games behind Oklahoma Christian for a spot in the Lone Star Conference Tournament.

Realizing 1K: Junior outside Karly Wells recorded the 1,000th kill of her career in the first set in Friday's contest against Midwestern State. She now has 1,042 tallies in her career.
Chasing Records: Wells leads the Lone Star Conference in kills per set at 4.75, after entering last weekend with a 4.65 average. She still sits fifth in the nation in that category. The current program record for kills per set in a single season belongs to Delaney Fuller (4.62 - 2024).
Leadership Milestone: Head Coach Jordan Fish is currently six wins shy of 100 in her coaching career (94-43).
Young Core: Paityn Winters (9/16), Aizlyn Dewberry (9/23), and Lauren Witte (10/14) have each taken home Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Week honors this season.
Berry Nice: Since transitioning from outside to middle on 9/19, Aizlyn Dewberry is averaging 1.09 blocks per set.
