LAST TIME OUT
A clutch strike from Gavyn Rosales in the 80th minute propelled DBU to a thrilling 2–1 victory over Texas A&M International on Wednesday night at Dustdevil Soccer Stadium in Laredo. The win locked up the No. 4 seed for the Patriots and ensured home-field advantage in the upcoming Lone Star Conference Quarterfinals.

After a tense, scoreless opening 71 minutes, the Patriots finally broke through when Cason Berg buried a shot off a precise setup from his brother, Caden Berg, to give DBU a 1–0 lead. The Dustdevils answered quickly, however, as Kai Louviere netted the equalizer just five minutes later to level the match.

With time winding down and both sides pressing for the winner, Rosales delivered the decisive moment, slotting home a feed from Colby deLeeuw in the 80th minute to reclaim the lead. DBU's back line stood tall in the closing moments, turning away a late TAMIU surge to secure the Patriots' seventh win of the season.
