LAST TIME OUT
The DBU Women's Tennis team had a strong season opener, defeating Ouachita and Henderson State. Emily Buchanan went undefeated in both singles and doubles, while Katia Robinson earned her first singles win as a Patriot. After losing the doubles point to Ouachita, DBU bounced back with four straight-set singles wins to clinch the match, and followed that up with a 5-2 victory over Henderson State. The team's resilience, skill, and strong performances from Buchanan and Robinson were key to their success.



PATRIOT STORYLINES
- The Lady Patriots are off to a 2-0 start this spring, showcasing their strong performance and determination in their first two matches.
- Emily Buchanan went undefeated in both singles and doubles. 
- Meanwhile, Katia Robinson earned her first singles win as a Patriot.
- Isabella Arana Rios, Emily Buchanan, and Andrea Delgado are each 2-0 in singles to begin the season, playing in the 4th, 5th, and 6th positions.
- Emily Buchanan is 2-0 in doubles, playing in the second-line position.



SCOUTING STANISLAUS STATE 
- DBU will face Stanislaus State on Sunday. 
- Stanislaus State competes at the NCAA Division II level within the PacWest Conference and has started the spring season with a 2-0 record.
- The Lady Patriots own the all-time series, 1-0, against the Warriors since their first matchup on March 5, 2024. 

SCOUTING CHAMINADE
- DBU will face Chaminade on Monday at 11 am. 
- Chaminade competes at the NCAA Division II level in the PacWest Conference and holds a 0-1 record so far this season.
- The Lady Patriots own the all-time series, 1-0, against the Silverswords since their first matchup on February 14, 2020. 

SCOUTING HAWAII PACIFIC
- DBU will face Hawaii Pacific on Tuesday at 11 am. 
- Hawaii Pacific competes at the NCAA Division II level in the PacWest Conference and has a 1-4 record to start the spring season.
- The Sharks own the all-time series, 2-0, against the Lady Patriots since their first matchup on February 10, 2011. 

SCOUTING HAWAII HILO
- DBU will face Hawaii Hilo on Wednesday at 11 am.
- Hawaii Hilo competes at the NCAA Division II level in the PacWest Conference.
- The Lady Patriots own the all-time series, 2-1, against the Vulcans since their first matchup on February 14, 2007.
