- Climbing the RPI: DBU continues to strengthen its postseason resume, jumping to No. 19 in the latest RPI rankings released by D1Baseball.

- CUSA Title Hunt: The Patriots sit just 1.0 game out of first place behind No. 20 Western Kentucky in the Conference USA standings.

- Power Surge: DBU ranks 14th nationally in home runs (62) and 13th in slugging percentage (.541).

- Run Scoring Machine: The Patriots lead Conference USA in scoring, averaging 8.8 runs per game.

- Home Run King: Junior catcher Grant Jay set the DBU career home run record with a three-homer game vs. UTA on April 1. His 57th career home run came on Saturday at Jacksonville State.

Golden Spikes Watch: Jay is also one of 45 players recently named to the Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List.

- Milestone Watch: Senior center fielder Nathan Humphreys is the first Patriot with 30 career home runs and 40 career stolen bases. He enters Tuesday's game at TCU just five hits shy of 200 for his career.

- Grady's Hot Streak: Redshirt junior Keaton Grady cracked the starting lineup on March 8. Since a five-hit day at New Mexico State on March 29, he is hitting .432 over the last 10 games.

- Bullpen Lockdown: Patriot relievers Avery Duncan, Mason Peters, and Tyler Schott have not allowed an earned run in their last 13 combined outings (14.2 innings).

- Web Gems: DBU ranks No. 13 in the nation in fielding percentage (.980). Last year's team set the school record with a .982 fielding percentage.

SCOUTING TCU

- The Horned Frogs hold a 28-9 overall record two months into the 2025 season. 

- TCU sits at 11-4 in Big 12 play following a sweep over the Kansas Jayhawks last weekend. The Horned Frogs outscored the Jayhawks 25-6 across the series. 

- The Horned Frog pitching staff currently rocks a team ERA of 4.05. 

- RHP Louis Rodriguez leads all TCU arms with 13 appearances. Rodriguez has a 3.27 ERA and a 9.4 K/9.

- The back end of the TCU bullpen is anchored by two arms: Kade Eudy and Braeden Sloan. Eudy leads the team with four saves, and Sloan follows behind him with three. Both arms appeared late in DBU's loss to TCU in March.

- The TCU lineup features two sticks with an OPS over 1.000: Sawyer Strosnider (1.190), and Chase Brunson (1.027).
