The DBU Spirit Teams competed at NCA College Nationals this past week in Daytona Beach, Florida, where the teams looked to defend their 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 NCA titles. DBU Cheer would five-peat in the All-Girl Intermediate Division II competition against eighteen other teams.
On Thursday, the Patriots earned a preliminary score of 97.23/100. They would follow up this performance on Friday with a 97.74 score and a zero-deduction routine. Their total score for both days a 97.61 securing their fifth straight national title. DBU Cheer finished the competition with the highest intermediate all-girl score across all divisions.

The DBU Cheer, Patriettes Teams, as well as Drumline and Patriot Man, competed together in the Game Day Division II division against three other teams. Friday afternoon, DBU posted a zero-deduction routine with a preliminary score of 94.87, setting them up in prime position for the final round on Friday. On finals day, the Game Day earned another zero-deduction routine with a score of 95.63 and a final score of 95.44 to secure back to back titles in Game Day Division II. They also finished the competition with the highest game day score across all divisions.

With each team bringing home titles in each of the last five years, the DBU Spirit Teams continue to prove themselves as one of the most competitive teams in the nation.
