| By:

The Patriots are moving on to medal matchplay after round three of the Lone Star Conference Tournament after posting a team score of 297 in the final 18. Fifth year senior Jordan Karrh led the team with an even-par, finishing the last eight holes two-under.

DBU opened the day in fourth place, just nine strokes from Midwestern State in third. Only the top four teams advance to medal matchplay, so it was crucial the Patriots held their position on the leaderboard.

Jordan Karrh and Gracie Grant both opened their rounds with birdies, and Karrh finished with four pars on the day to shoot 72. Sidney Robertson carded the next best round at 73, and Grant's 75 came next. Eryn Garza's 77 rounded out Patriot scoring.

The Patriots finished 13-strokes above UT Tyler to secure their advancement to medal matchplay, along with West Texas A&M, the No. 1 seed, No. 2 seed St. Mary's, and No. 3 Seed Midwestern State.

Matches will begin on Wednesday at 9 AM with tee times off of hole one. DBU will face No. 1 seed West Texas A&M in the semifinal and Midwestern State and St. Mary's face off in the second semifinal match. The winner of each match will advance to the final match on Wednesday afternoon.
