SCOUTING OKLAHOMA

- The Sooners hold a 23-8 overall record through the first month and a half of the 2025 season.

- Oklahoma sits at 5-6 in SEC play after being swept by the No. 7 ranked LSU Tigers last weekend. The Sooners were held to four runs across the entire weekend and were shut out on Friday.

- OU's active three-game losing streak is the longest skid they have suffered this season.

- The Sooner pitching staff currently rocks a team ERA of 4.20.

- Dylan Crooks is the feature arm of Oklahoma's bullpen with nine saves to his name on the year. Crooks made one appearance last weekend, throwing just nine pitches on Saturday. Expect to see Crooks late Tuesday in a tie-game or save situation.

- While the OU lineup doesn't feature any qualified hitters who hold an OPS over 1.000, they have four with clips over .900: Trey Gambill (.997), Jaxon Willits (.981), Jason Walk (.926), and Sam Christiansen (.977).

- Willits leads the team with eight home runs on the year, followed by Easton Carmichael who has swatted six.

- The Sooners are incredibly active and efficient on the basepaths, with 88 steal attempts in 31 games (2.84). They currently rock a team-wide 84% success rate on steals. Dawson Willis leads the team with 15 attempts (12-15), followed closely by Walk (9-14) and Kyle Branch (10-10).

ON DECK
The Patriots head to Jacksonville, Alabama this weekend to take on Jacksonville State (21-11, 5-4 CUSA) following Tuesday's midweek game. Both DBU and JSU will carry 5-4 conference records into the series.
