- Legendary Career: Centerfielder Nathan Humphreys became the first player in program history to eclipse 200 hits, 30 home runs, and 50 stolen bases in a career. He also became just the seventh player in program history to record 200 career starts.
- Power Trio: DBU's lineup is anchored by three of C-USA's top offensive threats: Grant Jay (2nd in CUSA in HR with 19), Nathan Humphreys (4th in CUSA in HR with 17) and Chayton Krauss (CUSA's RBI leader with 69).

DBU VS. THE FIELD IN BATON ROUGE
- LSU: DBU dropped a 7-3 decision to LSU in their lone meeting at Globe Life Field in Arlington on February 26.
- Rhode Island: The Patriots hold a 2-0 all-time record against the Rams, with both wins coming during the 2004 season.
- Little Rock: DBU's only meeting with Little Rock came in 2008 - and it was a memorable one, marking Dan Heefner's first career win as head coach of the Patriots.
