The Patriots finished the 2025 West Regional as runners-up, punching their ticket to the National Championship set to start on May 13. DBU and MSU both finished the tournament at 29-over, forcing a sudden-death playoff, where the Mustangs finished one stroke better. Gracie Grant led the Patriots in scoring, finishing the tournament in eighth place. Â
Day three of the West Regional consisted of rounds two and three since heavy rainfall on Tuesday prevented play. Play began at 8 AM, with DBU starting on holes 10 through 12. The Patriots entered the final two rounds just three strokes back from the leader, CSU Los Angeles. In round two, Ella Cheek, Madison Ude, and Jordan Karrh each finished the front nine under par. Cheek and Ude posted the team-low, carding a one-under 70's thanks to front nine scores of 33. Karrh and Sidney Robertson posted 73's, and the team combined for a score of 286, their lowest of the tournament. Â
Following the completion of the second round, the field went straight into the third round, where the Patriots got off to a hot start. Ella Cheek, Sidney Robertson, and Gracie Grant were six under on holes 14 through 18, each finishing the back nine under par. Karrh's 70 was team-leading for the final round, Cheek and Robertson posted even-par 72's, and Gracie Grant carded a 73. The team combined for a score of 287, tying with Midwestern State at 881. Â
A sudden-death playoff commenced following the completion of round three. The Patriots fell 16-17 to MSU, finishing runners-up for the second consecutive year. On the individual side, WTAMU's Anna Nomrowski defeated MSU's Brecklyn Flanagan 4-5 in a playoff for the individual title. Â

DBU and MSU tied for first place at 29-over. West Texas A&M finished next at 30-over, and CSU East Bay and CSU San Marcos combined for 33-over as a team. CSU Los Angeles, the leader after round one, tied for sixth place at 42-over. Â

2- The Patriots finished second in the field for their par four and par five play. On the par fours, they averaged 4.23 strokes, and for the par fives, they averaged 4.89 strokes per hole. Â
9- Gracie Grant and Sidney Robertson each posted nine birdies in the tournament. Â
40- DBU carded the most birdies in the 54-holes, posting 40 birdies between the five competitors.Â
