Nathan Humphreys, one of the most decorated players in DBU Baseball history, has signed a free agent contract with the Philadelphia Phillies.
A senior centerfielder from Midlothian, Texas, Humphreys capped off his collegiate career with an impressive list of accolades. In 2025, he was named a Second Team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), earned First Team Central All-Region honors, and was selected to the First Team All-Conference USA.
Known for his exceptional defense, Humphreys was also a two-time Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year, cementing his reputation as one of the nation's elite centerfielders.
Over four seasons at DBU, Humphreys became a mainstay in the Patriots' lineup. He finished his career with the third-most games played (225) and fifth-most starts (211) in program history. His name appears in the DBU record book across 10 additional career categories, including:
