The DBU Baseball team announced Thursday that they will wrap up their fall schedule with a home scrimmage against Wichita State on Saturday, October 18 at Horner Ballpark. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m., and admission is free for all fans.

The matchup with the Shockers will serve as the Patriots' final tune-up of the fall, following a road trip to Fayeteville, Arkansas, on October 11 to face the Arkansas Razorbacks at Baum Stadium.

DBU enters the fall on the heels of its 11th consecutive NCAA postseason appearance, finishing the 2024 campaign with a 41-18 record and once again cementing its place among the nation's top programs.

Wichita State, a tradition-rich program competing in the American Conference, posted a 20-36 record in 2025.
