The top-ranked DBU Women's Golf team wrapped up the second round of the Folds of Honor Challenge on Tuesday with a 10-over par at The Meadows Golf Course, placing the Patriots in a tie for third on the team leaderboard at 20-over par. Findlay University leads the field with a two-round total of 2-over par, while Grand Valley State sits in second, one stroke ahead of DBU.
Individually, two Patriots surged into the top 10 with strong second-round performances.
Gracie Grant fired a 1-under 70 on Tuesday, climbing into a tie for fourth at 1-over par for the tournament, only four shots off the individual lead.
Ella Cheek matched her teammate with a 1-under round of her own, moving into a tie for ninth at 5-over par.
Chloe Sirkin also finds herself inside the top 20, posting an 11-over total through two rounds to sit tied for 17th.
With three players inside the top 20, the Patriots remain firmly in contention for a strong finish as they look to close out the tournament on Wednesday.
