THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Golf team turned in a strong showing at the Folds of Honor Challenge this week, finishing fifth overall at The Meadows in Allendale, Michigan. The Patriots closed the 54-hole event at 23-over par, just 15 shots behind Grand Valley State, who claimed the team title at 8-over.
 
DBU nearly cracked the top three, finishing only five strokes shy of Wayne State and Odessa College, who tied for third.
 
Freshman standouts 
Jagger Cole and 
Brecken Franklin paced the Patriots, each tying for 10th place at 3-over par (216). For Cole, a Midlothian, Texas native, it marks his second consecutive top-10 finish to begin his college career. Fellow freshman Daniel Dickerson also impressed, placing 20th with a 7-over par (220).

THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
	- DBU's final-round 287 (+3) was the second-best team round of the day.
- The Patriots finished 18 strokes ahead of Findlay and 26 in front of the University of Indianapolis, both of whom entered the week receiving votes in the national Top 25 poll.
- DBU tallied 165 pars, the third-highest total among 11-team field.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS 
4.11Â- DBU led the entire tournament in par-4 scoring average.

Jagger Cole posted the best par-4 scoring average of any player in the field.
12 - Cole also led the Patriots with 12 birdies across 54 holes.
