The top-ranked DBU Women's Golf team opened their fall campaign with a strong showing at the Folds of Honor Challenge in Allendale, Michigan, finishing third overall in a field stacked with national contenders.

The Patriots closed the tournament with a team score of 10-over par in Tuesday's final round, bringing their three-day total to 41-over. Findlay University clinched the team title at 13-over, while Grand Valley State claimed runner-up honors. DBU finished just two strokes ahead of Lone Star Conference rival West Texas A&M to secure a top-three finish.

Leading the way for the Patriots was sophomore All-American
Gracie Grant, who picked up right where she left off last season, firing rounds that landed her in seventh place at 5-over (219). Just one stroke back, senior
Ella Cheek delivered yet another steady performance, finishing eighth overall for her 14th career top-10 finish.
