LAST TIME OUT
DBU continued its flawless start to the 2025 season with a commanding 3-0 win over St. Mary's on Saturday in San Antonio. The Patriots remain unbeaten at 6-0 overall and 2-0 in Lone Star Conference play, marking their best opening run since 2020.

After controlling much of the opening half but unable to find the net despite a 10-5 shot edge, DBU finally broke through midway through the second. In the 63rd minute, a foul in the box on St. Mary's defender Gracie Van Sluis set up a penalty kick, and Kenzi Tufts calmly slotted home her second PK of the year to give the Patriots the lead.

Momentum quickly swung further in DBU's favor just three minutes later. Building out of the back, Parker Coe played forward to Emma Croley, who slipped a pass to freshman Riley Olsen. Olsen drilled a right-footed strike into the upper center of the goal to double the Patriots' advantage.

The finishing touch came in the 84th minute off a corner kick, when Croley connected with Coe, who buried her second goal of the season to seal the victory.

Behind three second-half goals, DBU dictated the tempo after halftime and outshot the Rattlers 12-2 over the final 45 minutes.
