LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, the Lady Patriots went 1-1 in the Lone Star Crossover, sweeping St. Mary's on Friday before being reverse-swept by Texas Woman's Saturday afternoon.
In Friday's win, DBU had its second-most efficient game of the year in terms of hitting percentage (.250).
Ella Swinn recorded her first career kill in that game and finished with six.
In the loss to TWU, the Lady Patriots ran away with set one and claimed the second frame in deuce play, before dropping three consecutive sets (25-18, 29-17, 16-25, 18-25, 15-17). That afternoon, the Owls held the Lady Patriots to their lowest team-hitting percentage of the season (.116).
Now, head coach
Jordan Fish and her squad have the opportunity to avenge last weekend's loss and open conference play with a win, on the road at Kitty Magee Arena.
