The reigning national champion DBU Women's Golf team will begin the 2025 season right where they left off — at the top. The Patriots have been ranked No. 1 in the nation in the Mizuno Women's Golf Coaches Association Preseason Poll, earning 16 of 19 first-place votes in the NCAA Division II rankings.

DBU returns a strong core from last year's squad that captured the program's third NCAA National Championship, highlighted by a pair of All-Americans — junior Ella Cheek and sophomore Gracie Grant, who was also recognized as the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year. The Patriots also welcome back junior Madison Ude, an All-LSC performer who played a pivotal role in last season's championship run.

DBU opens their 2025 fall season at the Folds of Honor Challenge on September 15 in Allendale, Michigan.
