TEEING OFF
No. 1 DBU heads to Boulder City, Nevada, for the Las Vegas Desert Classic, teeing off Friday at Boulder Creek Golf Club with the Hoover Dam just around the corner. The Patriots will play the opening round Friday, the second round Saturday, and the final round Sunday to close out their fall campaign.

In their last outing, the Patriots put together a stellar performance at the Midwestern State Invitational, finishing 21-under par to claim the team title by 27 strokes. The victory marked DBU's second consecutive win and third of the fall campaign. The Patriots also swept the top three spots on the individual leaderboard, led by Madison Ude (-7), who claimed the individual title. Ella Cheek (-5) finished runner-up, while Chloe Sirkin (-1) tied for third. Elle Pistana (E) tied for fifth, and Gracie Grant finished tied for 12th, placing all five Patriots inside the top 12.

Following another standout team performance, the No. 1 Patriots look to finish their fall campaign on a high note at the Las Vegas Desert Classic.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
LSC Golfer of the Week Honors: Madison Ude earned LSC Golfer of the Week honors after carding a seven-under-par finish at the Midwestern State Invitational, capturing her first individual title of the season and the fourth of her career.
On the Card: Ella Cheek, Gracie Grant, Chloe Sirkin, Elle Pistana, Madison Ude, and Individual Gaia Esparza will be representing DBU in Boulder City.
Midwestern State Invitational Standout Performances: Madison Ude captured the fourth individual title of her career, while Chloe Sirkin secured a career-best third-place finish. Freshman Elle Pistana also recorded a career-best finish, tying for fifth. Ella Cheek and Pistana each carded an eagle during the tournament, and the Patriots topped the field in scoring on par-3s, par-4s, and par-5s.
Las Vegas Desert Classic Field: DBU will join host Missouri-St. Louis, California State-Monterey Bay, Lincoln Memorial, Western New Mexico, Central Missouri, St. Mary's, Texas A&M-Kingsville, California State-Los Angeles, Colorado Mesa, Point Loma Nazarene, Westminster, UT Tyler, Arkansas Tech, Cal State San Marcos, and Washburn at the Las Vegas Desert Classic.

HISTORY AT THE LAS VEGAS DESERT CLASSIC
DBU last played at Boulder Creek Golf Club in the National Preview in 2024, where the Patriots took second place after shooting 33-under. DBU won the National Preview in the fall of 2022 when the event was held in Eureka, Missouri.
