COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF
With a spot in the postseason on the line, the Patriots took down Texas A&M International on Wednesday night at Patriot Soccer Field in the regular season finale. In the 28th minute,
Caden Berg's shot attempt from the right corner of the six-yard box was saved by TAMIU goalkeeper Nicklas Berg-Ericksen, but the ball deflected from the keeper off a Dustdevil defender for the only goal of the game. DBU played a possessive style in the closing minutes to seal the victory and earn a spot in the Lone Star Conference Tournament.
