No.1 DBU collected plenty of treats on Saturday at the Las Vegas Desert Classic, climbing into a tie for first at 17-under at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.

The Patriots are dominating near the top of the individual leaderboard, with Gracie Grant (-7) leading the field in a tie for first. Ella Cheek (-5) and individual competitor Gaia Esparza (-5) sit tied for fifth, while Ella Pistana (-3) is tied for 11th and Madison Ude (-2) holds a tie for 13th.

DBU carded a 13-under round in the second round, led by Grant's six-under performance. Cheek and Esparza matched with four-under rounds, while Pistana posted two-under, Ude finished one-under, and Chloe Sirkin carded one-over.

The Patriots soared on the course, recording five eagles in the second round to lead the field with six total, four ahead of the competition. Grant led the charge with eagles on holes 13 and 15, while Cheek added one on hole 13. Sirkin opened her round with an eagle on hole two, and Ude followed suit on hole five.

Cheek and Esparza each kept their front nine bogey-free, while Pistana and Grant did the same on the back nine. Grant was particularly impressive, going seven-under on the back nine behind two eagles and three birdies. Esparza led the Patriots with six birdies, followed by Grant and Cheek, who each carded four in the second round.

The Patriots return to Boulder Creek Golf Club on Sunday for the final round of the Las Vegas Desert Classic, looking to close out their fall campaign on top.
