Gracie Grant has been tabbed as the Lone Star Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, announced by the league office on Thursday. Grant earns the accolade after winning the individual title at the Las Vegas Desert Classic with a score of -11, her first career individual victory.
 
Grant pieced together three rounds in the red at Boulder Creek Golf Club. After posting a one-under 71 in the first round, the junior from Crestview, Florida, rebounded from a front-nine 37 in the second round, shooting an incredible 29 on the back nine, including two eagles and three birdies in the last seven holes. She built on her momentum from round two in the final round, carding a 68 with five birdies and just one bogey to lead the Patriots to their fourth tournament title of the fall and her first career individual win.
 
Grant receives the LSC Golfer of the Week honor for the third time in her career. She also joins Ude as second Patriot garner the recognition this fall.
 
Grant and the rest of the nationally top-ranked DBU squad return to action in the spring.
