Dr. Blake Flickner his 400th win as a collegiate head coach.
Jaden Shelvin led the Patriots with 14 points on 62.5% shooting, supported by three others in double figures. Â Â

Xavion Brown opened the scoring with a layup on the opening possession, but Cameron would jump out to a 16-6 advantage after five minutes of play. However, DBU would respond by putting together runs of five, four, and eight, retaking the lead on a
Junior Goodlet layup to make it 25-24. The teams would trade buckets for the next handful of minutes, and the score wound up tied at 32 with 3:43 left in the half.
Cody Stevens would break that tie with a mid-range jumper, serving as the final lead change of the game. The Patriots went into the halftime break leading 41-39.

Drew Calderon led the group with seven points in the first half, but the story of the opening frame was on the glass. DBU recorded ten offensive rebounds in the opening frame compared to Cameron's one, creating a second-chance point differential in the first half of +9 for the Patriots.

The floodgates opened for DBU in the second half, kick-started by a
Jaden Shelvin layup. The Patriots embarked on a 19-6 run to start the second half, leading 60-45 with 12:33 left in the game. DBU continued its dominance on the offensive glass for the remainder of the game, bringing down ten more offensive rebounds in the second half.
