The Patriots opened their weekend in Austin with a commanding 20-0 victory over St. Edward's on Thursday night. Returning to competition after a two-week break, DBU displayed sharp execution and attention to detail throughout the matchup, earning its second shutout win of the season.

Competing for the first time since February 21, DBU set the tone early by sweeping all four points in the first-quarter partner stunts frame, which featured routines one through four. The Patriots delivered clean, confident performances across the board, showcasing the preparation and focus they carried into the weekend.

DBU continued its momentum in the pyramids and tosses quarter, holding the Hilltoppers scoreless while claiming three of the four available points. The Patriots were especially crisp in routine two, executing with precision and demonstrating their continued emphasis on technical details.

Leading 7-0 at halftime, DBU added three more points in the jumps and tumbling frame. When routine six was called, the Patriots rose to the challenge, delivering a strong performance in one of the quarter's more difficult routines to push their total into double digits.

In the final team routine quarter, DBU put the result beyond doubt, doubling its score by securing three points in routines one, three, and four. During the frame, St. Edward's called for routine eight, and the Patriots claimed a difficult tumble point that eluded them in the third quarter.
