versus Mississippi Valley State on February 23 … Hit his first homerun of the year with a three-run blast at
San Jose State on March 22 … Smashed a two-run homer and drove in three runs at home against
Sacramento State on March 30 … Hit a solo homerun and went two for three in a 10-9 win over Texas
Tech on April 9 … Delivered another homerun in his very next game against Seattle … Went two for three
in a 2-0 win at home over No. 10 Oklahoma on April 30 … Put together a 4 for 4 day at UT Arlington on
May 5 … Went two for three and drove in a run in a 6-5 win at Oklahoma on May 14 … Pieced together
his longest hit streak of the year at five games from May 11-May 17.
 
2012 (SOPHOMORE)
Saw action in 24 games with 14 starts ... Hit .208 with three doubles and two homeruns ... Started Opening
Day at Designated Hitter and collected a walk and an RBI on the day ... Had a pinch-hit double against
Oklahoma State on February 21 ... Went two for four with a solo homerun against Texas A&M-Corpus
Christi on March 1 ... Added another RBI in the final game of that series, a 13-6 Patriot win ... Walked
twice against Texas in Austin and did not record an official at-bat ... Singled, scored, and drove in a run to
open the series against Louisiana Tech ... Had a single and a sacrifice fly against Sam Houston on March
27 ... Put together a three-game hitting streak from April 18 – 28, including a homerun against Texas
Southern and two hits in the Wichita State series ... Had hits in both ends of a doubleheader against
Evansville on May 5.
 
2011 (FRESHMAN)
Saw action in 35 games as a true freshman, 21 at catcher, eight at DH, and had six pinch-hit appearances …
Hit .253 with four homeruns and a double while driving in 23 runs … First start came on February 19
against Indiana State when he picked up his first collegiate hit with an RBI single up the middle in the third
inning … Also doubled and singled again in his first game to pick up four RBI to begin his career … Hit
two grandslams in back-to-back innings against New Orleans and drove in another run to tie a Dallas
Baptist single-game record with nine RBI… Hit another grandslam, and a solo homerun, to drive in five
runs against Pine Bluff on April 8 … Went 4-6 with an RBI against Seattle on April 22 … Put together a
four-game hitting streak from April 22 to April 29 … Had a pinch-hit walk and scored a run as part of the
14-10 extra inning win in College Station… Started as DH in three postseason games … Walked and
scored a run in the 3-2 win over TCU at the Fort Worth Regional … Collected a single and scored a run
against Oral Roberts in the first championship game.

COLLEGIATE SUMMER BASEBALL
Played for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs and was named the No. 21 prospect in the Florida
Collegiate Summer League by Perfect Game.
