Played in all 61 games, making 60 starts … Made the transition to the hot corner as the team’s everyday third baseman, after starting 54 games at shortstop last year … Played stellar defense at third base, going a stretch of 34 straight games from March 6 – April 12 without committing an error … Hit the team’s first homerun of the season on Opening Day versus Mississippi Valley State on February 14 … Went 4-for-9 with three RBI and seven runs scored in the season opening series against Mississippi Valley State … Pieced together a 2-for-5 day with two RBI in an extra-inning win at UT-San Antonio on February 25 … Went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI on March 1 versus Pennsylvania … Drove in two runs in a 2-for-3 day against Oral Roberts on March 6 … Hit his first career grand slam and went 2-for-5 with 4 RBI in a win over BYU on March 10 … Delivered three RBI at Stephen F. Appeared in 36 games, including 25 starts, as a true freshman ... Hit .206 with four doubles and a triple ... First collegiate hit came against Oklahoma State on February 21 with a single to left field in the eighth inning ... Later singled again in the ninth inning ... First collegiate double came against UT-San Antonio a week later ... Doubled against Texas on March 6 in Austin after entering the game as a pinch-runner ... That double started a six game hit streak from March 6 through March 15 ... Went two for three and picked up first collegiate RBI against Houston Baptist on March 11 ... Went two for three with a walk as part of the DBU, 7-6, walk-off win over Oklahoma in Dallas ... Collected two more hits to open the Charlotte series ... First collegiate triple came against Louisiana Tech on March 24 as part of a two-hit, two-RBI day ... Had two more hits the following game against Sam Houston in Huntsville ... Doubled against Texas Tech on April 11 ... Saw action in one game at the Waco Regional.

Played for the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League.  Prior to last year, spent the previous two summers in the Alaska Baseball League with the Mat-Su Miners.
