2007 graduate of Pflugerville High School… Played for Head Coach Don Fry…Named 1st Team All-District in 2005…1st Team All-District and 1st Team All-Central Texas in 2006 and 2007… Played summer baseball for Tommy Boggs and Gavin Wright with the Austin Slam.

Collegiate Summer Baseball
In 2008 played with the Pittsfield Dukes of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, hitting .300 with seven doubles, 15 runs, 18 RBI, and one homerun… Spent 2009 with the Waterloo Bucks of the Northwoods League.

2008 Patriots
Played a significant role for the Patriots getting 27 starts while playing in 38 regular season games. Finished with a .288 average with 36 hits adding eight doubles and three homeruns… First collegiate hit came on Opening Day against Missouri State on a 6th inning single… Also picked up first collegiate RBI in that game on a 9th inning single to plate Brandon Bantz… Went two for four, picking up first extra base hit with a double, on February 23 against UTA in a 4-3 win… Hit first collegiate homerun against Nevada-Reno at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco as part of the Southwest Diamond Classic… Picked up two hits and two RBI at Stephen F. Austin in a 10-6 Patriot win… Doubled and had two RBI in a win against UTA on March 8… Hit second homerun of the season, a two-run shot, against Northern Illinois on March 13… Had two hits and scored a run in Game 1 against Oral Roberts in Tulsa… In the following day's game, had two doubles and three RBI in a 19-6 win… Had a pinch-hit game-tying two run homerun in the seventh against Sam Houston State on March 25, a game the Patriots eventually won in the ninth… Had four hits, including two doubles, four RBI and four runs scored in a 21-1 route of Houston Baptist… Had two hits against Oklahoma on April 1 in Norman… Scored three runs and collected two hits in a 16-2 win at Memphis… Collected two hits against #5 Texas A&M in the last game of the series in College Station… Had one at-bat in the NCAA Regional, a pinch-hit in Game 1 at College Station.

2009 Patriots
ABCA/Rawlings 3rd Team All-American… ABCA Midwest All-Region 1st Team… 1st Team All-Independent… Led the team in RBI with 74… Tied with Ryan Enos for the lead in doubles with 20… Third in homeruns with 16 and tied for second in triples with 2… Hit safely in 40 of the 51 games in which he started… First hit of the year was an 8th inning double against Binghamton in Game 2… Doubled and drove in two in Game 3… Against Oakland on March 7 had four hits - including his first homerun - four runs scored, and 5 RBI as part of a 16-6 Patriot win… Collected two hits and three more RBI to help lead the Patriots to a 11-2 win over Texas Tech… Went 4 for 5 with 3 RBI to help defeat Louisiana Monroe on March 17… Hit a grandslam the next day against Monroe to record 4 RBI and a run scored as part of a 14-7 win… Hit a three run homerun in the first inning against Minnesota on March 20… Also homered the next day against Minnesota to complete a string of 4 homeruns in 5 days… Finished the 4-1 win over Sam Houston with 2 RBI… Went 4 for 5 with a double, a triple, and 4 RBI against Houston Baptist on April 3… Collected five more RBI with two homeruns and a single the next day against HBU… Drove in two more in a 5-4 win over Oral Roberts… Went 3 for 6 with an RBI and 3 runs scored in a 16-3 win over Baylor… Hit a solo homerun in the 12-3 win over Utah Valley in Orem… Doubled and hit another homerun in Game 2 of the doubleheader to collect 3 RBI and close out the Utah Valley series… Hit two solo homeruns and a double in a 14-8 win over Northern Colorado… Added another homerun and two more RBI in the second game of the UNC doubleheader… Homered, doubled, and drove in four in Game 3 to finish the UNC series 8 for 14 with 8 RBI… Collected 3 hits and 3 RBI against SFA on the road… Singled twice and drove in two runs in a 6-2 win over Sam Houston in Huntsville… Doubled three times in four at-bats in Game 1 of the Texas A&M series… Doubled twice, homered, and drove in three in Game 2, an 11-10 Patriot win… Hit for the natural cycle in a 15-14 win over Utah Valley at home – singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, and homered in the 5th before being hit by a pitch in the 8th… Singled, doubled and homered for a 5 RBI day against UTSA at home on May 12 in a 15-8 Patriot win… Collected hits in three of the final four games of the season.
