High School
2007 graduate of Keller High School… Played for Head Coach Rob Stramp… Named District 5-5A Pitcher of the Year in 2007… Also 1st Team All-District and 3rd Team All-State selection.

Collegiate Summer Baseball
Spent 2008 and 2009 with the Coppell Copperheads of the Texas Collegiate League… Helped the Copperheads to the 2009 League Championship where he was named Championship Series MVP.

2008 Patriots
Was an integral part of the Patriot run to the postseason, compiling 19 appearances, 16 of those out of the bullpen… Finished the year with a 4.27 ERA in 46.1 innings while allowing only 9 walks… Opponents only attempted one stolen base and were unsuccessful in that attempt… Made collegiate debut on Opening Day against Missouri State as the first man out of the pen for the Patriots… Next outing was February 29 against UTA where he went 1.1 innings in a 7-4 victory at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco… Went 1.1 innings again against Stephen F. Austin on the road, giving up no runs in the Patriot win… Came out of bullpen for 3 innings against Northern Illinois at home in the final game of the series… Closed out a 19-6 win over Oral Roberts in Tulsa, pitching a perfect ninth with one strikeout… Pitched two innings against Sam Houston State at home, giving up no runs on a hit and striking out two… Picked up first save of his career against Northern Colorado by pitching the final three innings of the Patriot 7-2 win… Threw two-thirds inning of perfect baseball in an 18-5 win over Louisiana Monroe… Gave up a hit and no runs, punched out three and walked none on April 15 against Baylor… Saw 3.1 innings of action against Memphis, giving up two earned runs while striking out three… First career start and win came against Stephen F. Austin on April 22… Went 5 innings giving up only one earned run while striking out five… Second save came against Northern Colorado in Greeley when he again pitched the final three innings of the game… Threw 1.1 inning against Sam Houston in Huntsville giving up no runs on three hits… Threw one inning of scoreless baseball in 12-6 Patriot win over #5 Texas A&M… Second win of career came against Texas Tech on May 7 after throwing six complete innings, allowing four runs… Faced Texas Tech again on May 13 and picked up another win after going 7.1 innings, allowing four runs… Picked up fourth win of the year in final game of the regular season against San Francisco after throwing three innings in relief, allowing one earned run… Made one appearance in the NCAA Regional against Illinois-Chicago.

2009 Patriots
Saw action in 12 games, 9 of those as the starting pitcher… Pitched seven strong innings in his first outing against Binghamton going 7 innings, striking out 6, and allowing only an unearned run… Picked up the win against Siena on February 27 after throwing six innings and striking out five… Went seven full innings in his next start against Oakland to receive a no-decision in an eventual 12-9 Patriot win… First relief outing came against Northeastern on April 11 when he threw a scoreless ninth inning… Threw another scoreless ninth on the road in Utah as part of a 12-3 Patriot win… Pitched two innings in relief against Central Arkansas on April 21… Picked up the win as the starter against Sam Houston after throwing six innings and allowing two runs on eight hits… Best outing of the year came against Jacksonville in Florida as he threw a complete game while allowing only a first inning run to lead the Patriots to a 13-1 victory.
