Born on January 15, 1994 … Parents are Dan and Carol Roberts … Majoring in Business … Austin was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was six years old … Neurosurgeons in Los Angeles, California, used what is known as an intraoperative MRI, which allows doctors to see high resolution images of the brain during surgery to remove the tumor … Is cancer free and her family has raised $4.5 million to bring the same iMRI technology to Cook Children's hospital in Fort Worth … As a result, neurosurgeons at Cook Children's have now performed over 500 surgeries using this technology … Favorite Bible verse is John 3:30.
