Pitched in seven games before being lost for the rest of the season to injury … Posted a 1.84 ERA in seven appearances and 29.1 innings on the mound … Emerged from the bullpen to pitch five shutout innings of relief at San Diego on February 21 to earn the win … Promoted to the weekend starting rotation and made his first career start on March 8 at Oral Roberts and surrendered just one run, while striking out five over 5.0 innings … Tossed a career-high six shutout innings against Texas Southern to earn his second win of the year on March 8 … Allowed just one run in 4.1 innings on March 29 versus Illinois State … Threw two scoreless innings at Oklahoma on April 14 in his final outing of the year.

Made eight appearances out of the bullpen and went 1-1 with a 6.59 ERA … Threw a scoreless inning and struck out two in his collegiate debut versus Mississippi Valley State on February 14 … In his only two plate appearances of the year, went 1-for-2 with a double against Mississippi Valley State on February 16 … Came out of the pen to toss three scoreless innings against Texas Southern on April 1.
