Graduate of J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson… Played for Head Coach Brent Morton… During senior year was named to the 1st team All-City roster… Also named 2nd team All-District.

Collegiate Summer Baseball
Spent 2008 and 2009 in the Dallas Amateur Baseball Association.
2008 Patriots: Saw two appearances while working to return to full strength… First appearance was a third of an inning at Louisiana Monroe on April 9th… Also faced Texas Tech, throwing one inning in relief striking out one giving up no hits and no runs.

2009 Patriots
First outing of the year came in relief of Victor Black on Opening Day… Gave up one run in helping the Patriots to a 6-2 win… Threw a scoreless 7th inning against Siena on February 27 at Patriot Field… Hurled 1.2 innings of scoreless baseball against Central Arkansas at home as part of a 12-3 Patriot victory… Threw 2.2 innings of scoreless relief against Minnesota on March 20 giving up one hit and striking out three.
